Winning the Scriptapalooza Fellowship was a huge step forward for me as a writer. Having the name of such a well-known Fellowship has been very helpful to me, and it has made a lot of people reach out with an interest in my scripts. I've also noticed that it is lot easier to get people to read my scripts now! Another thing I really appreciated about the fellowship was the great feedback I received on my script, the coverage was unusually thorough and insightful.
—2016 Recipient Inger Dietrichs

When I entered the Scriptapalooza Fellowship, I honestly had no dreams of winning it, I was just looking for feedback. Feedback from friends is great, but feedback from a stranger who reads a lot of scripts is obviously going to be more honest, and therefore more valuable. The trip to the writers' retreat was exactly what I needed. Being surrounded by other writers, in a creative and supportive environment, did a tremendous amount to help me see myself as a real writer, not just a wannabe.
—2017 Recipient Jonathan Ammon
